Daniel has performed and shared the stage with many notable Californian jazz musicians, such as piano Maestro Mikan Zlatkovich, guitarist Peter Sprague, singer Jesse Davis, trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos, pianist Llew Matthews, bassist John B. Williams, and many others.

Daniel often says he wishes he were born in the early 1900s so that he'd have been part of the glamorous, romantic 1920s and 30s. He loved being with older friends who lived, loved and reminisced about those golden years he missed ... the romantic music, fashion, literature, poetry ...
